By now most people would have heard of the National Broadband Network (NBN) being rolled out. Most current fixed phone lines and internet service cabling as well as hardware will be upgraded as part of the roll out. When the full upgrade to NBN has been completed in our area, access to a fixed-line analogue telephone service will cease. Back to base alarms connected to the fixed line analogue network will also stop reliably reporting back to base.
Protecting what matters to you and your family is a prime concern for us at Macquarie Alarms & Security. Your alarm monitoring via the old analogue infrastructure will continue until the change-over to the NBN has been concluded. Alternate communication paths for your back to base service are available and our staff are able to offer advice should you need to discuss options.
